I received my Bachelors’ degree in nursing from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing (UMSON). The majority of my nursing experience comes from a medical surgical unit; I also have experience working in a private mental health practice. I am a candidate for receiving my doctorate as a mental health nurse practitioner from UMSON, May of 2018. I love working with children and believe that nurturing children to see the good within them and providing a stable environment is a crucial part of development. As an intern at MPPI, I am developing a better understanding of the unique challenges children and families face and how to best support their mental health.
