My name is Donesha Barnett and I am a Master of Social Work candidate at Morgan State University. My area of specialized practice is Urban Children, Youth and Families. I also received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Morgan State University. I have always had a passion for helping others. I chose social work because I would like to be an agent of change and make a difference in urban communities. I have a special interest in assisting to better the lives of disadvantaged children in my hometown of Baltimore, MD. I believe that one of the biggest differences between equality and equity is access to opportunity. All children deserve the opportunity to have a bright future and to reach their full potential.
