Become a Foster Parent

We are looking for you!! The Martin Pollak Project’s Treatment Foster Care programs are looking for loving and nurturing individuals and families willing to open their hearts and their homes to children with special needs. slider3By opening your heart and your home to children, you will become a child’s beacon of hope, as his/her family works with you & other professionals to overcome and/or heal the conditions which lead to the children’s placement into care.

You will be warmly welcomed into the Martin Pollak Project family. We maintain a staff of highly skilled and trained caregivers who provide direct care to children and their families to support successful adjustment in the home and community.

What are the qualifications?

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Sufficient income to maintain expenses
  • Have access to public or private transportation to transport children
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent including life experiences
  • Be available to a child on a 24 hour basis
  • Have ample space in your home

What are the Benefits of fostering?

  • Getting a per diem stipend plus a Difficulty of Care payment
